Thiwson Beach Resort - Sha Extra Plus - Ko Yao Yai

Really enjoyed our time here, the location is right on the ocean and the pool area had an very nice view. The breakfast was amazing, we especially loved the variety with fresh fruits and cooked-to-order eggs. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I was given double superior and brand-new room with mosquito nets, outdoor shower, as for instance. The location was lovely for traveling around Ko Yao Yai, adjacent to a very quiet island, the nicest beach, and a restaurant.

Some of the staff were not so nice.

Had a fantastic stay! The infinity pool had fine bay views, and the wooden huts were super cute. Breakfast was delicious, though the pillows were a bit hard. Would definitely come back for the relaxing vibe.

Poor communication regarding activities affected by ongoing development is frustrating!!! Children-friendly facilities are lacking!!!

The infinity pool offers amazing views of Phang Nga bay, a perfect spot to unwind while sipping on a smoothie. Sunrise and sunset at this place are pure magic, especially with no two sunsets being alike.

Sadly, the beach is less than desirable for swimming due to strong tides and a concrete flood barrier. The restaurant could use an overhaul. The breakfast often served cold food, and I wouldn't wish that fried rice experience on anyone. A heads up for families-be prepared to bring extra bedding, as the default arrangements can feel cramped. Be aware of the noisy bats at night. They add an unexpected wildlife soundtrack that might not thrill everyone.

The check-in process felt unstructured, leading to confusion about our room arrangements. Our initially assigned bungalow was smaller than expected, and the extra bed made it cramped. Beach access was disappointing, as swimming conditions were not ideal during low tide. Although the pools were nice, improvements in communication about room specifications would enhance the experience greatly.

The views from the sea view room were amazing. Truly a serene atmosphere to wake up in each day. We also enjoyed the pool area and the beach access which was so peaceful.
